Over the summer I had the opportunity to teach some art classes! One being the observational drawing class, a great favorite of mine! Here is some of the work done by some fabulous artists!Really enjoyed volunteering and teaching at chalkfest this past weekend! Wow! What an amazing display of skill and creativity at work. Check out some of my examples for teaching, student examples, and of course the pros!As promised our 3rd color print of our Kente cloth! The 4th graders did a great job. They will be framed and soon hung up on the walls for all to see! Here are our finished teapots in the Greenware state! They are ready to dry out and then go into the kiln for the first firing to be bisqued. After that they will be glazed and then go into the kiln for the second time! Stay tuned to see the glazed teapots in a couple weeks! The Second graders are working on their practice self-portraits in preparation for our sunglasses self-Portrait!
